Two of the North West’s most popular comedians Adam Rowe and Dan Nightingale have collaborated to create a purpose-built ‘Podcast Studio’ at The Heath Business and Technical Park to stream their own comedy show.

Liverpool-based comic Adam says: “We were recording from home for a while and it’s just a bit annoying to do it that way. We needed a designated space for our show to put us in league with the huge American comedy podcasts like Joe Rohan’s and Andrew Schulz’s.

“I live in Liverpool and my co-host, Dan, lives in Chester and The Heath in Runcorn is right in the middle of us. We also both regularly perform at ‘The Comedy Office’, the comedy club based on The Heath, and it seemed the perfect location for our studio. There’s obviously loads of facilities around the country that can accommodate podcasts, but we believe this is the first purpose-built Podcast Studio dedicated to one single show.”

Adam adds: “We want to be able to create better content and the studio absolutely allows us to do that. We’ve decked it out with state-of-the-art recording equipment, sound proofed it and made it look stunning, so the video version of the podcast is aesthetically pleasing.”

Adam, a Liverpool Comedian of the Year winner who has also won the coveted Dave Award for ‘Best Joke at the Edinburgh Fringe’ is a regular at the UK’s top comedy clubs and festivals. He has also headlined at clubs in the Middle East and USA and appears on ITV’s The Stand-Up Sketch Show.  Dan, originally from Preston, carved out his comedy career in Manchester and is a regular at comedy clubs around the UK.
