Thank you very much to everyone who has dropped off gifts at The Heath Business and Technical Park for our “Be a Santa to a Senior” appeal.

We’ve had chocolates , Christmas cake and puddings, mince pies, shortbread, little bottles of wine and spirits, socks, scarves, hats, gloves , pens , a purse , toiletries and much more put into our collection boxes on site – they were bursting!

The Heath and Jane Pinnington from Home Instead Care have now linked up with Runcorn Police via PCSO Tracy Taylor to help even more lonely, vulnerable and isolated elderly people in Halton.

Your gifts from The Heath are being parcelled up with additional winter warming accessories and a Christmas card written by children from local school St Clementines and Holy Family and will be distributed nearer to Christmas . Home Instead and The Heath are continuing to collect so please pop an extra goodie in your shopping trolley or go foraging in your emergency present drawer and drop it off at The Heath .

Ask friends and neighbours – I did and ended up with 2 baskets full which will be divided into many individual hampers . A huge ‘thank-you,’ to my neighbours and walking and plodding buddies !

We’ve got boxes at 4 locations : The Café, The Science Centre, The Conference Centre & the Gym.

Thank you – Alison and the community team at The Heath .
