RE-OPENING OF OUR 5 A SIDE 3G PITCH GUIDELINES

Following guidance received from the Government we have put in place a number of new procedures to keep the 3G pitch a safe environment.

These procedures must be followed by all players, officials, spectators  and parents/guardians at all times.

Prior to making a booking the Pitch Booker must be sure that they can collect their players names and contact numbers for test and trace reasons. The Government guidance states that:

Activity organiser should support track and trace efforts by collecting written information on participants at both individual training sessions and all matches. This must be detailed enough to allow NHS Test and Trace to contact all participants if a player becomes ill with COVID-19. These records must be kept for 21 days”.

At the present time we are only able to accept payments made over the phone or by card at Reception. The payment can be taken at the time of booking but must be made prior to the start of the session.

Own equipment must be used as the gym is unable to hire out bibs, balls, or gloves.

The changing rooms and showers in the gym are unavailable until further notice.

If  the pitch is still in use when you arrive please stand in the coned off “Waiting Area” at the back of the pitch. This will allow the players to safely leave the pitch. Do not wait next to the pitch gate.

Hands must be sanitised before players/officials enter the pitch. Hand  sanitiser is available on the pitch but it would be appreciated if individuals  bring their own too.

Players are discouraged from touching the boards and tackling against them.

Everyone should refrain from spitting. If anyone needs to sneeze or cough they should us a tissue or their upper sleeve and avoid touching their face.

The bin provided should be used for all litter as leaving it  around the pitch will pose a hygiene risk.

There should be no handshaking or goal celebrations.

Water bottles and drinks must not be shared.

Spectators and parents/guardians  should comply with the 2m social distance rule and stand back from  the boards and fencing.
